Marc Jacobs vs. Charolette Russe

I have a pretty big purse collection so I guess you can say that I always appreciate a great handbag when I see one!
Marc Jacobs is a master when it comes to accessories and I’m especially loving the vibrant blue color as well as the studs. It's a very cute bag but it's also a bit on the pricey side for me.

Charlotte Russe has also created a studded quilted purse very similar to that of  the MJ Stardust bag even though it has noticeable differences; for example the silver hardware and the missing clasp.

Christmas is only 21 days away! So how about I give you some of my favorite shoe styles from Forever 21!

Zara Men's F/W 2010

I love all the looks! Now I see exactly why I chose to work at Zara. = )

Alexander McQueen Cloned

Alexander McQueen "Pelle" Booties
A few posts back I featured these gorge glamrock shoes by Alexander McQueen. Ever since then I have found two clones of them. If you ask me they are pretty close to the orginals. What do you think?

I saw these on a recent trip to Steve Madden in SoHo & I went OMG those look just like the Alexander McQueen Pelle Booties! &&& Steve Madden has already been hit with a lawsuit for these knockoffs.
Man I should have bought them when I first laid eyes on them because I checked the site and they are no longer available!

There are also these clones from GoJane. Not as fab as the McQueens nor are they copied as perfect as the Steve Madden's but I still like them.

*P.S. I don't think it's ok for labels to copy designs. I just have fun finding designer inspired pieces. It's unfortunate that some labels don't take much time or effort to change designs to fit the aesthic of their company.  Copying with the intent to trade on the popularity of the design and commercial strength of another brand is not a good thing = (

Forever 21 Times Sqaure

The fast fashion machine is coming to Times Square! &&& that means 90,000 sq. ft of fab clothes at your fingertips. This is mine & ever stylish girl's dream!!!

Bebe Does Balmain

Every season I make a style shopping-list. The list usually consists of clothing and shoes that I want or plan to buy. Being that it's more like a wish-list I sometimes include things that in reality I may not get around to buying. = (

So for Fall09 #3 on my list is: own something Balmain. Currently, I am a college student with no financial aid for tuition = ( and I only have a part-time retail job...sooo I highly doubt I will cross #3 off sometime this year. LoL.

But hey it's wishful thinking! Besides can you imagine NOT feeling like an ultimate stylista in a fab creation by Balmain something like this one from the Fall 2008 collection...

Maybe Balmain dresses are so exspensive because each piece is sprinkled with magic sexy dust. = )

And the celebs love Balmain just like me too!

I hope that my readers are not tired of my knockoff/ designer look-alike posts. I realized that lately I have been making a lot of knockoff posts and also have been writing a lot about Balmain..but I will not stop because every woman deserves a little Balmain in her life whether it's an authnetic Balmain piece or a Balaminesque piece.

I know that my store Zara has ripped-offed every great design from Balmain for their F/W collection. The studded shoes, military/band jackets, tie-dyed jeans...the list goes on. But after visiting Bebe I see they are also gulity as charged when it comes to committing the copycat crime. However, I do not care let them copy all they want because that's what FastFashion stores are for & I love to shop at both Zara & Bebe!!!

Got a serious case of Balmania? Bebe may be able to cure you...

Christian Louboutin Dillan Pumps

These are the Christian Louboutin’s “Dillian” pumps that were designed for 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Spring 2009 collection. I first seen these worn by Ciara and I immediately fell in love!

I really like the shape of the pumps, and the best part is the big ruffle/petal detail on the front which makes them stand out. They cost around 3k so I decided to search for a much cheaper alternative...
