Harlem Heights:Life From the Top

The cast of BET's newest reality show, Harlem Heights at the premiere party thrown in New York City.

The show which premiered March 2nd follows the lives of 8 young black “tastemakers” who are making moves while living in Harlem, New York.

After viewing the show,I discovered there is so much to love about Harlem Heights! For one it takes place in Harlem which sets it apart from the carbon copy reality shows about young adults from the West Coast. Secondly, Harlem isn't being portrayed in a negative light. Lastly,the characters of the show all have ambition and several goals as they make their way into the post-college life.

Tune in to Harlem Heights Mondays at 10 PM/9C.

Christina Milian Goes Blondie

Christina usually does no wrong in my celeb style book but I'm still wondering why she chose that red lipstick or that uber blonde hair color. Don't get me wrong it's not awful but I don't love it either!

Welcome to The Greatest Show on Earth

Britney Spears,who has proven that she is the comeback queen kicks off her Circus tour in New Orleans today. Her costumes for the show have been created by Canadian designers Dan and Dean Caten of DSQUARED.In addition to Ms.Spears,Dan and Dean have also dressed an array of celebs including; Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Usher, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.

The designers say that they are enormous fans of Britney, and they have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to collaborate with her.

Im very fond of this collabo & I'm so happy to see that Brit is putting her career back together = )

Rodarte F/W 09

At Rodarte innovative designs were key. I feel like this collection has a futuristic feel similar to a Balenciaga aesthetic. I did notice less dark than their collections of past, which is I feel is great to lifts the spirits of stylistas = ). Rodarte somehow creates beauty out of strange and bizzare inspiration-I read somewhere that they had Frankenstein and straitjackets on their minds!
♥ What I love most is the unlikely combo of skimpy hems and hip-high boots...stunning.

Erin Wasson + RVCA Fall 2009

Here are some pics from the presentation held by model Erin Wasson at Milk Studios for her fall 09 designs for RVCA. I think the collection is not too bad but it slightly raunchy with the leather suspenders,platform shoes, and garter belts. However, I do love the rocker vibe = )
